Portugal, PKRA day 2

By kimandre in 2006 Europe roadtrip

Today, the wind came as promissed and the PKRA event really kicked off (we didn’t stay to long cause we wanted to hit the water ourselfs). But the competitors at the PKRA are deffently in a class of they’re own and a true inspiration.

PKRA, Don’t know who this was, but he was insaine!

PKRA, Mike Blomvall blows my mind

PKRA, Aron Hadlow shows why he is numbha one

As I said yesterday we had a light light wind session, and Brede got a very nice shoot of the lagona at low tide with me hitting the Stonker board (without straps and fins)

The lagona on a “skim” in light light winds

And today we where super motivated, the wind kicked in really hard. Brede was on the 11 and I was super powered (at times) with the 9m2 (and then underpowered at other). Was a bit gusty .. but that didn’t matter. We where on a mission!

Brede tries to get as vertical as possible on the front

Brede in paradise

Me initalizing a backmobe

Me setting up for the pass (didn’t make it tho)

A super day, and monday and tuesday looks like it will be windy again. So we will continue to try and pull some new moves and have fun (and hopefully stick em too).
