Brede got some rideing in today, just riding back and forth. I think that made a smile on his face (think he was starting to get very bored with just sitting on the beach).
On the gas-station we are currently calling “home” I think the local workers are starting to think weird things. Me and Brede walking around like we got something stuck in our ass from a hard days kiteboarding … then both of us climb in the back of the car and close the doors …. (what we really are doing is watching Simpsons on the laptop).
We have one more day in Lagoa De Albufeira before we leave for Peniche and some epic wave riding (hopefully).
Lagoa De Albufeira is a very nice place, but the athmosphere is a little mixed. Very nice local riders, smiling when the wind comes. But there is a sertain moment of unsertanty around the whole scene. It’s in the midle of the woods with just some rich peoples houses around. So we allways makes sure we get out of there before it gets dark.
Wind wize it’s unreal, everday the wind comes in the afternoon. Anything from 15-30 knots (usally around 16-18 knots enought to have some fun on the 13m2).
One more day to nail the KGB (got my ass served to me today going for it). Also just made my lines 25 meters, and the difference was noticeable. So I need some adjustment to the new setup. Hopefully Brede will be out there getting to know the waves before we head up for bigger waves.
