Alright, yesterday we decided to move cause of Brede’s leg injury. He can’t do much freestyle, so we decided to go try and find some waves (and some flatwater if possible).
Brede managed to open up his leg wound again by doing a kiteloop gone bad.

We also got picked on by the local policia at Portimao lagona. There was a number of things that he didn’t like (but I think he was just bored).
1. We were parked with our bedsheets hanging out on the back
2. We parked at an “ilegal” spot
3. We where driving at an “ilegal” spot (even tho cars where running up and down all day)
4. Our car registration paper is temparary AND in Norwegian (since the god damn DMI in Norway could’nt get Brede the papers in time).
BUT luckely for us, a very nice kiter spoke Portugeese with the police officer and the officer seemed to understand the situation and that we where just inocent tourist and not bandits. Thanks to this incredible friendly local we got away with a warning.
So, today we headed north to find some epic spots. And did we ever hit the jackpot! Lagoa de Albufeira just before Lisboa has some epic conditions! It has flatwater on the inside in a lagoon, and small training waves on the outside.

The forecast for this week is windy windy windy and more wind. So hopefully I can work more on my KGB (this was easier for me than the mobe) and Brede’s leg will heal up nicely.
